![]() ![]() Again, I am fairly new to MIDI, and newer to DAW's in general, so I may need to provide much more information in regards to my inquiry. My question is, where do I tell x key to play y sound, where is this configured? Is it the Routing Matrix? I looked through the Software for about an hour trying to find this out because I hate asking, but I figured I would post at this point and look for some guidance. ![]() wavs.įor example, when I double click the MIDI map and it pops up and there are piano keys, when I click one of the keys, it plays a kick or snare, or whatever sound it is set to, of course. wavs and the issue is that I cannot figure out how to trigger, if you will, the keys, myself to play said. Other than doing all of the tweaks in the mixer in SD to change the actual sounds, I did not customize the setup of the I/O's myself at all, it already all came pre configured and worked for what I needed it to do, but now I want to change the samples, the drum sounds. I mean it is awesome that I can use Superior Drummer successfully, and this template is great and does what I need, but I have no idea how the guy set it up, that is the problem. I downloaded a premade template, which is where the problem is. Apologies for any poor terminology as I attempt to describe what I am having an issue with, hopefully it is clear enough for someone to point me in the right direction, or to the right thread.īasically, I use Superior Drummer 2.0 successfully with Reaper, it is awesome. It will include custom MIDI played by Nir Z accessed through the all new customized MIDI engine and arranger EZplayer pro, it will feature stand alone capacity through Toontrack solo. I did do a search for about 15 minutes through the forums first, (not long, but at least some effort put in before posting) but to be honest I am pretty new at this and if I did in fact find the answer, I may have not even realized. Superior Drummer 2.0 has been re-developed for optimized use with e-drums with more effective use of sample layers and much improved loading times. This is my first post and I apologize if this has already been covered in another thread.
